QA Level 5 Diploma in First Response Emergency and Urgent Care (RQF) provides further skills and knowledge for learners to be able to manage prehospital care emergencies, including childbirth, acute conditions, threatening infections and more.
Who Is It For?
Designed by QA, this qualification is intended for those looking to develop their career in the Ambulance sector further.
- You must be over 18 years old to apply.
- You must have completed FREC 4 or a QA recognised equivalent before applying for FREUC 5.
You must have access to and evidence 750 hours worth of clinical practice.
Progression & Career Opportunities
Not only does successful completion of FREC 5 open up further career opportunities in the Ambulance sector – you can also progress onto the QA Level 6 Diploma in Paramedic Practice (RQF) (* not offered at our training centre at this current time). The last step is to submit a HCPC application and you have completed your journey to become a Paramedic.
