We can arrange a monthly payment option for you through PayItMonthly (credit facility). You will pay a 20% deposit and pay the rest over 10 months (this period can be adjusted at your request). 

This is at no interest.

How to pay monthly? Choose 'Pay deposit' at check out. Watch your mailbox, as you will receive an application via email within a maximum of 3 working days. After filling it in, you will find out within 3 days if you're eligible.

What if you're not eligible? Don't worry - we will get in touch and discuss alternative ways you can pay monthly. Your place on the course will only be confirmed once we confirm a payment method with you and your deposit is refundable upuntil that point.

To pay via PayItMonthly (credit facility), a 20% non-refundable deposit must be paid upfront. PayItMonthly (credit facility) only covers up to £3000 of the cost - if the amount exceeds £3000, the exceeding amount must be paid upfront. It is not available for FREC 3 unless combined with other courses. You will be receive a PayItMonthly (credit facility) application within a maximum of 3 working days. Please complete the application at your earliest convenience. You will then await approval from PayItMonthly. Your booking may be cancelled by Basegreen until you are approved for PayItMonthly or we agree an alternative payment method with you.

About this Course

The QA Level 5 Diploma in First Response Emergency and Urgent Care (RQF), also called FREC 5 or FREUC 5, provides further knowledge and skills in the ambulance sector, expanding career opportunities and qualifying candidates up to Emergency Medical Technician level.

The FREC 5 runs for 3 weeks, normally at our Sheffield base, though we are happy to make alternative arrangements for multiple bookings. After the 3 week classroom period, there are workbooks and 750 clinical hours to complete. Learners have up to 2 years to complete their workbooks and clinical hours. Pick one of the dates above. After you book your place, you will receive joining instructions over email. Attend our centre at your chosen date, and a member of our staff will welcome you and show you where to go. There is coffee and tea available on site.

Career Opportunities

Successful completion of FREC 5 opens up further career opportunities in the Ambulance and wider healthcare sector including Primary care services.  Designed by QA, this qualification is intended for those looking to develop their career in the Ambulance sector. Upon completion, learners are qualified Emergency Medical Technicians, with options to progress further.

 

Next Step

Requirements

  • You must be over 18 years old to apply.
  • You must have completed FREC 4 or a QA recognised equivalent before applying for FREUC 5.
  • You must have access to and evidence 750 hours worth of clinical practice.
