To pay monthly, choose 'Pay deposit' payment option when you check out. Within a maximum of 3 working days, you will receive an email application via email. Fill in your application - job done!

What if you're not approved? Not to worry. We will contact you to arrange an alternative method of monthly payment. Your place on the course is confirmed once we agree a payment method with you.

To pay via PayItMonthly (credit facility), a 20% deposit must be paid upfront. This is non-refundable. The PayItMonthly credit option only covers up to £3000 of the cost - if the amount exceeds £3000, the exceeding amount must be paid upfront. It is not available for FREC 3 unless combined with other courses. You will be receive a PayItMonthly (credit facility) application within a maximum of 3 working days. Please complete the application at your earliest convenience. You will then await approval from PayItMonthly. This booking may be cancelled by Basegreen until you are approved for PayItMonthly or we agree an alternative payment method with you.

This may open up employment opportunities. For example, you could complete the FREC 3, the FREC 4 and CERAD to become an Emergency Care Assistant. Message us to receive your discount code.

Criteria apply - you must ensure that you will be able to meet all your course requirements before the commencement of each of the programmes you book on. Basegreen will not be liable if you are not able to do so.

About this Course

Whether you are wanting to work for the NHS or a private ambulance provider, the Futurequals Emergency Ambulance Driving course is the right choice for you to be able to drive an ambulance vehicle with blue lights on. There are career opportunities to be a Emergency Care Assistant if you should wish to combine this course with our FREC suite - and you may be eligible for a discount. Contact us. Criteria apply.

What you will learn as part of the emergency driving (CERAD) course:

• How to carry out inspection and checks
• To be able to comply with all driving regulations
• To drive on motorways and dual carriageways
• How to brake, steer, reverse and use safe systems
• How to safely drive in adverse conditions and at night
• To be able to navigate and drive in emergency response situations, as well as use the vehicles transmission systems

The CERAD course runs for 4 weeks at our Sheffield base, though we are happy to make alternative arrangements for multiple bookings. Pick one of the dates above. Once you complete your booking, you will receive an email with joining instructions. Join us on your chosen date, and one of our kind receptionists will greet you and direct you to your classroom, where one of our expert tutors will ensure you're trained to become an emergency ambulance driver!

 There is tea and coffee available at our training centre.

Requirements

• Candidates must possess a UK Driving Licence
• Candidates must be employed under a CQC registered organisation (but contact us if you're not, and we will discuss this with you and support you)

Progression and Career Opportunities

Successful candidates will be qualified to drive ambulance vehicles under emergency conditions. This course is Futurequals accredited and accepted by both NHS and private providers. Combine with our FREC 4 course to become an Emergency Care Assistant. You may be eligible for a discount - contact us to find out.
